A dialogue with future genaration of Okinawa – Theory U and our emerging future

A team of university students in Okinawa challenged to conduct a workshop titled “Searching for possibility of our future – a journey with Theory U” as a monthly learning session of Facilitators Association of Japan (FAJ) Okinawa Salon in September 2014.

Despite the preconception that the Theory U which focuses on way of being is must-to-learn for “an experienced or skilled” facilitator, the young people ambitiously challenged to plan and conduct the learning session and it was undoubtedly epoch-making event where we can see the possibility of our future generation.

In this occasion of “A dialogue with future genaration of Okinawa – Theory U and our emerging future,” associating with International Association of FacilitatorsInternational Facilitation Week, we are going to have a workshop with the student team reflecting what had been happening during the preparation and on the day of learning session and are going to search for next actions to take as innovators of social change.
